Dr. Alan Bates has lived in the Pacific Northwest for most of his life. He has served as an Oregon legislator since 2000, maintaining his private medical practice in Medford while serving in Salem. Throughout his career, Bates has been instrumental in advancing health care legislation in our state. His long list of accomplishments includes co-authoring the Healthy Oregon Act of 2007.
